Our boutique hotel is located in central St. Julian’s, a well-known hub of activity in Malta all year round.

Here are some of the most notable places to visit for leisure whilst staying with us at Hotel Juliani.

MERCURY TOWERS BY ZAHA HADID

Designed by one of the world’s most exceptional architects, the late Dame Zaha Hadid, the recently opened Mercury Towers is a 360 degree modern masterpiece. Nicknamed ‘the Twist’, it anchors a quarter full of restaurants and curated retail outlets ranging from Calvin Klein to Swarovski. Mercury Towers is less than a 10 minute walk away from Hotel Juliani.

THE LOVE SIGN

Right in front of our hotel, overlooking Spinola Bay, is one of the most minimalist yet iconic monuments in the Maltese islands. Created by renowned local visionary Richard England, its capital letters LOVE are spelt backwards purposefully in order to reflect the correct spelling in the water of the bay.

BEAUTIFUL BAYS

Speaking of bays, there are plenty of relaxing ones to enjoy in St. Julian’s alone. Aside from Spinola Bay located right in front of Hotel Juliani, you can walk towards Balluta Bay or St. George’s Bay, both of which are sandy beaches open for swimmers to enjoy everyday throughout the summer months.

TA’ GIORNI ALLEYWAYS

If you want to experience typically Maltese narrow streets, you can find plenty of them in touristic cities like Valletta and Mdina. A quainter alternative, where you will probably only find a few residents walking by, is the residential area known as Ta’ Giorni. This is a small neighbourhood connecting St. Julian’s to other nearby towns, perfect for capturing pretty photos and videos for your Instagram feed with its many cute alleyways.

PORTOMASO MARINA

Malta’s leading yacht marina, Portomaso, is only a 7 minute walk away from our hotel. It is a long-standing entertainment and business complex, with high-quality restaurants offering various types of cuisines as well as one of the island’s top casinos.

PACEVILLE

Between Hotel Juliani and Portomaso Marina, you will definitely pass by Paceville, which is Malta’s most popular party district. Other than the overwhelming variety of bars, clubs and restaurants all around the area, you will notably find The Bay Street Shopping Complex and Eden Cinemas.

Within even closer reach, inside Hotel Juliani itself, there is plenty to get up to during your stay. Café Juliani is open daily from early until late, whilst our Michelin-recommended restaurant ZEST is open every evening for dinner. You will also find at your disposal a fitness centre, a professional board room, the beautiful Spa Royale and of course our Level 9 Rooftop Pool.
