The summer is always busy with events, as people come to Malta from all over the world and enjoy the Mediterranean summer weather. This month we have international football, amazing food, music, and dance. High brow or just a great time, we have something for everyone to enjoy.

July 3rd-16th: 2023 U19 EURO finals in Malta

World class football comes to Malta with the stars of tomorrow descending on the island for the 2023 U19 EURO finals. The hosts will be joined by seven teams progressing from the elite round, and the top two teams from each group will progress to the semi-finals. The Malta Football Association (MFA) previously staged the 2014 U17 EURO. That was the only previous occasion on which a team from Malta played at a UEFA final tournament. July 17th-23rd: International Food Festival

July 18-23: Isle of MTV Malta

Isle of MTV Malta 2023 is Europe’s biggest free music festival, featuring a lineup of international acts headlined by Grammy-nominated OneRepublic. Other top acts include Alesso, Mimi Webb, and Tom Grennan. An annual feature since 2006, Isle of MTV Malta is well known all over Europe, and is a popular draw for people to visit Malta especially for this event, with up to 50,000 attendees. See here for details and come and join the fun this summer.

July 27th: Dance Festival Malta

Dance Festival Malta is a multi-disciplinary festival spread over four days. The festival will host a series of workshops, masterclasses and performances that welcome the richness of the universal language of dance cultures, featuring international artists and choreographers. Through this varied programme, audiences and participants can be part of a unique festival that not only celebrates movement but aims to be a reference point where dancers forge links with the global dance community. July 27th- August 5th: Farsons Beer Festival

The Farsons Beer Festival is one of Maltas most popular summer celebrations, drawing thousands of festival goers every night. Running over 10 days, this summer outdoor festival brings together the best local music, beer and entertainment at TaQali National Park. Free to attend, you can find further details here.
