Hotel Juliani is the perfect location from where to discover the history and culture of Malta in the Mediterranean.
Located in the very centre of the Mediterranean, Malta is an island that is jam-packed with history, culture and passion.
One of the most unique aspects to the islands is their 7,000 year history, which dates back to prehistoric times. You will be able to explore a whole host of historical remains and architectural gems during your time here, from the oldest freestanding structures in the world to the stunning palaces built by the Knights of St John.
The vibrant Mediterranean spirit is very much alive here, and a sense of celebration can be felt in the air. From religious festivals to passionate feasts, the islands are alive with plenty to see and do. And these days they are also interestingly cosmopolitan, with a fantastic range of top-quality bars, restaurants, nightclubs and boutiques.
Getting around Malta is easy as you are never more than 25 minutes away from anything.
Bus stops, in both directions, are located very close to the hotel. The bus system, which is Malta’s primary public transport scheme, is scheduled for a complete reform shortly, but in the meantime offers a convenient way to get around. The main bus station is located just outside the city gates of Valletta, the capital city, which is about 20 minutes away from Hotel Juliani.
Alternatively, you may wish to consider hiring a car as this will afford you the freedom to explore the more secluded parts of the islands. Driving in Malta is on the left, and there are numerous car hire companies to choose from. Our Concierge will be happy to explain our options to you.
