Swimming

The St Julian’s coastline is the ideal swimming spot in Malta, and locals love jumping from the rocks for a swim in the crystal clear Mediterranean waters. Rocky beaches are dotted along the promenade and make for great swim pit-stops as you explore the area; most of them are within 15 minutes’ walk of Hotel Juliani. And, if you prefer to feel sand between your toes, you’ll find that St George’s Bay is the perfect place to locate it, and that this beach is also within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Alternatively, if you fancy something a little more far-flung, Malta’s most popular sandy beaches, including Mellieha Bay and Ghajn Tuffieha in the north of the island, are just a 30-minute drive away.
